A Must-Read Book

Although of course there a million books I love, I've never recommended one in particular (until now). I cannot say enough about Swann's Last Song- it is truly a fantastic book, even for someone who doesn't read a lot of mysteries (me). It's smart and beautifully written and absolutely page-turning, which is essential to (and not so easy to find) a great summer read....

Swann's Last Song is written by Charles Salzberg, my friend, writing teacher, and mentor...and one hell of a terrific guy. I promise you won't be disappointed. You can click here to order a copy.

I read Chasing Harry Winston a couple months ago and found it to be geared as "programming language" for men. I don't know how else to describe it. There were obvious references to the film "Can't Buy Me Love" and certain chapters involving Otis were drawn from the pages of "Men's Health" magazines. Viking fans will enjoy the product placement.

Hi Lauren,
I read Devil Wears Prada and Everyone Worth Knowing and I love both these books. As far as your comments are concerned in everyone worth knowing. I completely agree that even though most people love reading romantic novels, they would never agree to that in open. I hope people who love romantic novels realise that they are not the only ones. :-)
Cheers
